About Company

National Power Research Laboratory (NPRL) is an ISO9001:2008 accredited company that was established in year 2007, with a vision to provide high technology equipments in the field of pulsed power and high voltage high current electronics to industries and research organizations. Currently NPRL is manufacturing customized high voltage DC power supplies, and pulsed power equipments. We also make high current high efficiency rugged yet compact DC power sources for a variety of welding and electroplating applications.

About the founder

NPRL was founded by Dr. P. Choudhary, in 2007, who till then worked as scientific officer in Department of Atomic Energy, in India. Dr. P. Choudhary obtained his Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Mumbai, and did his Postdoctoral Research on high current pulsed plasma sources from USA. Dr. P. Choudhary is a recipient of Technical Excellency Award for his innovative research on high voltage pulsed systems applied to a lasers. He also designed a proto type Super Conducting Magnet Quench Power Supply for LHC project at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. P. Choudhary also won a prestigious JSPS post doctoral fellowship from Japan in year 2000.
